About Weardale Holiday Lodges

Weardale Holiday Lodges is a family run countryside retreat in the heart of County Durham. We created our lodges to offer a peaceful place where guests can relax, enjoy the scenery and experience the natural beauty of the valley. 

Many of the lodges were hand built on site by our family’s construction company, which means each one is bespoke and designed with real care. 

Our sites are designed to feel comfortable and welcoming, with every lodge cared for to a high standard so you can settle in and unwind from the moment you arrive.

We take pride in offering a quiet setting, friendly service and well presented accommodation that helps guests make the most of their time in Weardale. Whether you visit for a weekend or a longer break, our aim is to make your stay simple, calm and memorable.

Each lodge includes modern interiors, thoughtful extras and a private outdoor hot tub that adds to the sense of relaxation. 

Lower Weardale offers a cosy riverside atmosphere, while Upper Weardale provides wide open views across the valley. Both locations give you a peaceful base surrounded by countryside.
